8th Annual WI-SICP Educational Conference Bigger than Ever!

The culmination of a year’s work was realized at the 8th Annual Educational Conference of the Wisconsin Chapter of the SICP, which was held at the Kalahari Water Park and Resort in Wisconsin Dells on November 8 and 9.

The weekend started off on Friday night with conference check-in and a social gathering in the resort’s bowling complex. Over 80 attendees enjoyed an evening of networking with many of the 18 vendors as well as cath lab professionals and physicians from around the state. As has been our tradition, bowling and an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet were available for all attendees.

Saturday morning began at 0645 with late registration and a wonderful deluxe breakfast. Each attendee was welcomed with an SICP bag and WI-SICP cooler filled with sweet treats.

President Terri Schroeder welcomed the attendees and introduced the current and incoming members of the Board. Terri also introduced special guest Patrick Hoier, President-elect of SICP. Patrick gave an overview of the SICP and welcomed all new members.

Terri started the presentations by introducing the first speaker. Speakers and topics presented were:
