Letter from the Editor:
More New Features! This month we include two image-based sections
- Jodie Miller, Managing Editor
Dear readers,
In our February issue, we have included a wide variety of articles that I hope you will enjoy.
This month we premiere another special monthly section entitled “Clinical Imaging,” in which we present case reports using primarily ECG and angiographic images to demonstrate pre- and post-procedure. In this month’s article, Drs. Cohen and Lederman have provided a case on persistent left superior vena cava.
This month we also feature the second installment of our “Cryotherapy” monthly section. In this article, Drs. Kuniss and Pitschner discuss the benefits of cryoablation using a new catheter positioning technique for the treatment of typical atrial flutter. They also provide a case report to demonstrate their techniques.
In this issue we are happy to unveil another new feature called “Stump the Experts.” Every month we will include unidentified electrophysiology images from different EP labs and hospitals from all over the country. I encourage you to send in your interesting ECGs and photos and see if our readers can guess what they are!
In a future issue we will be providing an update on our EP Lab Digest email discussion group. So get those emails in! Also, please see page 27 for our most recent questions. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks for reading!
